William Fox-Pitt returns to world Eventing number one slot
William Fox-Pitt (GBR), the multiple Olympic, World and European medallist, is back as world Eventing number one after victory in last month’s Mitsubishi Motors Badminton Horse Trials, fourth leg of the FEI Classics™.
He had held on to the world number one slot for a year until last month, when Michael Jung (GER), who became the first Eventing athlete to hold the European, world and Olympic titles simultaneously in 2012, jumped to the top of the FEI World Eventing Rankings for the first time in his career.

Griffin NuuMed have announced two Brand Ambassadors
Griffin NuuMed have appointed two Brand Ambassadors in the lead up to the 2015 Mitsubishi Motors Badminton Grassroots Championships.
The company extended the invitation to become a Brand Ambassador to all riders who have qualified for the Grassroots Championships. The response was so strong that they selected two, Karen Franklin and Emily Proud, both of whom have qualified for the BE90 Championships.
Hemp horse bedding firm Aubiose Ltd have announced the sponsorship of two riders for the first time.
Hampshire based grassroots eventer Nicki Strong and Kent based professional showjumper and producer Biba McCaul will be flying the flag as ambassadors for Aubiose throughout 2015.

Richard Meade (GBR) OBE, triple Olympic gold Eventing champion, former member of the FEI Bureau, FEI Eventing Committee and Chairman of Group II (Northern Europe), has passed away after a battle with cancer. He was 76 years old.
He became the first British athlete to win individual Eventing gold at the Munich 1972 Olympic Games, after making his Olympic début in Tokyo eight years earlier.
