Mark Jones from Dartford, Kent, on his own 12 year-old bay mare Whisper XXI clinched the title in The Horsezone.co.uk National Para Club Equestrian Grade I held as part of The Horsezone.co.uk Para Club Championships which took place in the Andrews Bowen Indoor Arena on Tuesday at the British Showjumping National Championships. The Championships consisted of six titles awarded in various grades. The grading system ranges from Grade I, II, III, IV and Open with grades representative of the competitor’s level of disability.

A unique piece of sand art on the Bay of Mont-Saint-Michel in Normandy has marked 100 Days To Go to the start of the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games™ 2014 in France this summer.
French artist Christophe Dumont created a spectacular piece of sand art featuring giant, 2.3 by 2.5 metre horse’s hoof prints in a huge ‘100’ on the famous Normandy beach. The artist and a team of 20 people battled against time and tide to produce the unique piece of artwork, so that it could be captured on camera before the waves washed it away.

Final day of JYSK FEI European Para-Dressage Championships sees Britain top again

Great Britain was once again the main winner on the final day of the JYSK FEI European Para-Dressage Championships in Herning (DEN) today.
British riders took three gold and two silver medals across the five Grades in the individual Freestyle competition.

Great Britain were in winning mode on day four of the JYSK FEI European Para-Dressage Championships in Herning (DEN) today (24 August 2013), winning three of the four gold medals that were up for grabs in the individual and team competition.
