FEI Nations Cup™ Eventing 2015: British team triumph at Strzegom

An all-female team from Great Britain eventually beat an all-male trio from Australia after a tight competition at Strzegom (POL), fourth leg of the FEI Nations Cup™ Eventing 2015 (25th to 28th June 2015).

The three-man Australian team led after Dressage, with Andrew Hoy taking the individual lead on Cheeky Calimbo, but the Brits, who were third at that stage, were collectively faster across country to take a tiny two-penalty lead going into the final Jumping phase.

Yazmin Pinchen delivers in style to win Grand Prix

Yazmin Pinchen hailed “the biggest win of my career” after a superlative display saw her crowned 2015 Redrow Grand Prix champion at the Ashford Farm CSI**** Bolesworth International.

The 22-year-old Sussex rider delivered three clear rounds aboard the 12-year-old chestnut gelding Van De Vivaldi, which is owned by her mother Nancy, to power home and claim a £19,800 top prize.

In 2013, Phillip scored his first win in Hickstead’s most famous class, claiming the only clear round on the grey gelding Caritiar Z. Trevor had to settle for runner-up spot that year, later describing it as ‘the worst second place he’d ever had’.
