The HoneyBuns set to Sweeten HOYS Finale

This year’s (2015) Horse of the Year Show (HOYS) will be sweetened by the appearance of 6 divas with their larger than life performance. The HoneyBuns, from Britain’s Got Talent (BGT) fame, will be performing in the Andrews Bowen International Arena on Sunday evening as part of the finale.


The HoneyBuns will be performing 4 songs to entertain the audience and help draw HOYS 2015 to a spectacular close. The girls’ positive attitude and bubbly personalities shine through as viewers witnessed on BGT earlier this year.

Land Rover Announces Harry Meade as New Equestrian Ambassador

Land Rover UK has announced one of Britain’s leading three-day event riders Harry Meade as its latest equestrian ambassador signing.


The World Championships 2014 team silver medallist joins a stable of Land Rover equestrian ambassadors which include former World Champion and Olympic silver medallist Zara Phillips and Olympic team gold medallists, show jumper Ben Maher and dressage rider Laura Tomlinson.

Surrey Showjumper Secures the Forces Equine Rising Stars Title

Surrey Showjumper Millie Hockenhull secures the Forces Equine Rising Stars of the Future League Title


The Forces Equine Finals took place on Saturday 15th August 2015 in the Andrews Bowen Indoor Arena at the British Showjumping National Championships.

The first Championship to take place was the Forces Equine Rising Stars of the Future League Final. This competition was set at a height of 80cm and was a single phase speed round. The standard of riding was extremely high with all riders completing a polished and collected round. It was Millie Hockenhull (15) from Camberley, Surrey riding Gayle White’s 5 year-old bay mare Kandia Van De Brouwshoeve who were declared the winners when they finished with a clear round and a time of 31.93.

Mark Jones wins the National Para Equestrian Grade 1

Kent Rider Mark Jones wins the National Para Equestrian Grade 1 at British Showjumping National Championships on Tuesday 11th August 2015 at Stoneleigh, Warwickshire.

Mark Jones from Dartford, Kent, on his own 12 year-old bay mare Whisper XXI clinched the title in The National Para Club Equestrian Grade I held as part of The Para Club Championships which took place in the Andrews Bowen Indoor Arena on Tuesday at the British Showjumping National Championships. The Championships consisted of six titles awarded in various grades. The grading system ranges from Grade I, II, III, IV and Open with grades representative of the competitor’s level of disability.
