Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal, is to be presented with the prestigious Longines Ladies Awards which takes place at The Natural History Museum, London, on Monday 13th June 2016.

The Longines Ladies Awards celebrates women who have consistently achieved at the highest level within the equestrian world and made a significant contribution to the equestrian industry through their work. Previous winners of the highly respected award include Her Royal Highness Princess Haya Al Hussein, Sylvie Robert, Criquette Head-Maarek, Jing Li, Bo Derek, Princess Zahra Aga Khan, Athina Onassis de Miranda and Sophie Thalmann.

Now celebrating its 20th year, SEIB Search for Star will again offer the opportunity for more riders to experience the thrill of qualifying for and riding at the prestigious Horse of the Year Show for the first time. Search for a Star was created by SEIB to encourage amateur riders to produce their horses to a high standard in the show ring and giving them the opportunity to realise their dreams with that coveted HOYS ticket. Nominations Open for the Prestigious SEIB Meritoire Award

The annual SEIB Meritoire award is presented to the person who, in the opinion of the Awards Committee has made an outstanding lifetime contribution to the performance sport horse and pony breeding industry.

Previous winners have been the Louella Stud for their contribution to sport horse breeding; Johanna Vardon, founder of the National Foaling Bank, for her contribution to the health and wellbeing of orphaned foals; Archie Smith Maxwell, breeder of Jumbo, one of the highest ranking event sires of all time; Professor Graham Suggett in recognition for a lifetime’s contribution to breeding through encouraging British studbooks to work together and his Chairmanship of the former National Equine Database. In 2015 the Award was made posthumously to Richard Meade OBE, for his considerable competition success, his chairmanship of the British Horse Foundation for over 20 years and his unflinching support of British breeding. Scott Dollemore, aged 15, from East Grinstead, Sussex has been awarded the NAF Shining Star Award for July

A member of the Sussex Academy he was nominated by Lead Coach, Judi Piper Dadswell who commented “Scott has been a dedicated Academy member for the past five years and has made a seamless transition onto horses. He is a hard-working, focused and dedicated team member. Also, his attention to detail and quest for knowledge is exceptional for someone so young.”
