10 years of Toggi Team GBR red, white and blue…and counting!
2015 sees the 10 year anniversary of Toggi’s association with the British Equestrian Federation and of the brand’s support of Equestrian Team GBR. In the 10 year partnership, Equestrian Team GBR has won 162 medals at senior level, with countless more at youth level and we are all hoping that 2015 will see that number rise!
They’re good friends out of the show ring but make no mistake about it, Trevor Breen and Phillip Miller will be going all out to beat the other in this year’s Equestrian.com Derby at Hickstead (Sunday 28 June 2015).
In 2013, Phillip scored his first win in Hickstead’s most famous class, claiming the only clear round on the grey gelding Caritiar Z. Trevor had to settle for runner-up spot that year, later describing it as ‘the worst second place he’d ever had’.
Berkshire and Buckinghamshire riders get surprise sponsorship call!
Two local riders had the surprise of their lives recently when they were contacted out of the blue and offered sponsorship by the renowned 124-year-old Harry Hall equestrian clothing brand.
Hannah Bishop, a racing manager from Fulmer, Bucks, and Beth Mantel, a keen show jumper and dressage rider, and instructor at Berkshire College of Agriculture at Burchetts Green, were both among the handful of horse enthusiasts handpicked by Harry Hall.
Both will share Harry Hall news with their followers, write blogs, and will be feeding back into the Harry Hall product development team about how their clothes are performing.

British Equestrian Federation Announces Di Lampard as new Performance Manager for Jumping
The British Equestrian Federation (BEF) has (5 February 2015), named Di Lampard as the new Performance Manager for Jumping. Di will step up from her current role as Team GBR Co-Selector and deputy Chef d’Equipe for Nations Cup jumping teams (a position she has held since 2010) to lead, develop and manage the Jumping Programmes within the UK Sport National Lottery funded World Class Programme.
The 2015 SEIB Search for a Star and Racehorse to Riding Horse Dates
The 2015 series of the popular SEIB Insurance Brokers (SEIB) Search for a Star and the SEIB Racehorse to Riding Horse Show Championship will begin in April 2015 with five qualifiers throughout the country. Search for a Star was created by SEIB to encourage amateur riders to produce their horses to a high standard in the show ring and giving them the opportunity to compete at the prestigious finals at the Horse of the Year Show (HOYS). SEIB has a strong ethos of putting something back into equestrian sport and the company takes an enthusiastic interest in all the competitions they sponsor.
