Berkshire and Buckinghamshire riders get surprise sponsorship call!

Two local riders had the surprise of their lives recently when they were contacted out of the blue and offered sponsorship by the renowned 124-year-old Harry Hall equestrian clothing brand.

Hannah Bishop, a racing manager from Fulmer, Bucks, and Beth Mantel, a keen show jumper and dressage rider, and instructor at Berkshire College of Agriculture at Burchetts Green, were both among the handful of horse enthusiasts handpicked by Harry Hall.

Both will share Harry Hall news with their followers, write blogs, and will be feeding back into the Harry Hall product development team about how their clothes are performing.

“Harry Hall makes clothes for real riders who want to be safe and stylish as they enjoy their riding day in and day out,” says Harry Hall’s Lucy Higginson.

“Our aim was to find riders who reflect the brand; who are well-regarded in their region, who communicate with a good number of riders on Facebook and Twitter, and with strong interests in different areas of the horse world.”

Hannah is racing manager for Liz Prowting racing, a big supporter of retrained racehorses, and has two horse-mad sons. A year ago she won a charity horse race in aid of Greatwood Thoroughbred rehoming centre. Beth competes successfully in dressage and show jumping and teaches at Berkshire College of Agriculture.

Hannah said: “I am thrilled to be a brand ambassador for Harry Hall. Their clothes have been part of my horsey life since I was a child. I look forward to blogging about their fabulous new range.”

Beth said: “It was a lovely surprise to be chosen by Harry Hall to represent their brand. It is a name every rider knows and as someone who pretty much lives in riding clothes I look forward to sharing news about the brand and putting Harry Hall clothes properly through their paces.”
