This year marks the 20th Anniversary of the Petplan Equine Area Festivals and the season continued, with the first of eight Area Festival Finals taking place at Manor Grange Stud, Yorkshire.

Qualified riders from the 24 Area Festivals, which took place from May to September, will be heading to the Finals hoping to qualify for the Championships which will take place at Hartpury College in April 2020.

The Petplan Equine Area Festivals are the largest grassroots dressage competition hosted by British Dressage. Over the last 20 years the competition has grown hugely with entries rising from 555 in the first year to over 6,000 dressage tests being ridden in the 2018/19 season.
