What's On

Horse of the Year Show set to provide a first-class shopping experience.

Visitors to this year’s Horse of the Year Show at Birmingham’s NEC from 9th – 13th October 2013, will find a huge range of equestrian products, from competition breeches to personalised leather head collars. HOYS is also a popular choice for the promotion of innovative new products on the market. A number of leading equestrian and country clothing brands will be making a welcome return.

Aside from the equestrian market, products will include art, home wares, gourmet food, jewellery and antique furniture. Given HOYS’ timely presence in the lead up to Christmas, it will be the perfect opportunity for visitors to shop for some truly distinctive items.

As well as the shops, visitors can enjoy educational and fun activities all week in the Parelli Interactive Savvy Area. This is located between the upper and lower areas of the Retail Village.

There is plenty of arena action in store for visitors at this year’s Show. As well as hosting the finals of the most highly regarded national showing and show jumping championships; world-class international show jumping; Virbac 3D Worming Pony Club Mounted Games, and Osborne Refrigerators Double Harness Scurry, there is a full line-up of unbeatable entertainment to celebrate HOYS’ 65th year in style. There will be two very special displays: The Musical Drive of The King’s Troop, Royal Horse Artillery, presented by Home Farm Hothorpe and the Mulbrooke Stud, and Luma the Lion, the small pony ingeniously disguised as a big cat. Visitors to Sunday’s gala evening performance will enjoy a spectacular finale.
