After months of anticipation, a date has been set for the general release of the highly-demanded Horse of the Year Show (HOYS) 2014 tickets. Fans will be able to purchase their tickets from Thursday 6th February, while previous visitors will be given access to an exclusive pre-sale (terms & conditions apply – see booking website) from Friday 31st January 2014.

The organisers are looking forward to welcoming 60,000 visitors to Birmingham’s NEC from Wednesday 8th October – Sunday 12th October for another exceptional Show.

Visitors can take advantage of price freezes across more than half of the performances, with tickets starting from just £28 for up to 16 hours (terms & conditions apply – see booking website) of top-class entertainment.

HOYS 2014 is full of exciting features, following direct feedback from past visitors. One of the most thrilling, is the return of The Musical Ride of the Household Cavalry, which will headline this year’s displays.

Friday will be the day of choice for dressage fans. There will be a unique opportunity to learn from one of the discipline’s top families during The Eilberg Dressage Master Class, before the country’s top young horses take centre stage in the Dressage Future Elite Championship.

On the Showing front, there is a new Championship for competitors to contest. The Ridden Partbred Pony of the Year is open to qualified part bred Arab and part bred Welsh ponies and is sure to welcome some previously unseen talent to HOYS.

On top of all of this excitement, well-loved regulars will return, including the most prestigious national showing and show jumping Championships, 11 international show jumping classes, Virbac 3D Worming Pony Club Mounted Games, Osborne Refrigerators Double Harness Scurry Racing, a second display to be announced soon, and the hugely-popular Retail Village.

The full HOYS timetable will be published on the HOYS website www.hoys.co.uk to coincide with the release of tickets.

Tickets will be available to book from Thursday 6th February via www.hoys.co.uk/tickets and through the Box Office on 0844 581 8282. Concessions rates are available, as are discounts for group bookings.
